File Size Optimization
Video Uploads
Reduce file size before uploading:
| Original | Recommended | Reduction |
|---|---|---|
| 4K ProRes | 4K H.264 | 80-90% |
| Uncompressed | H.264 | 90-95% |
| 60fps | 30fps | 40-50% |
Transcoding Tips
Before uploading, convert videos: - Codec: H.264 - Container: MP4 - Bitrate: 10-20 Mbps for 1080p - Frame rate: 30fps (unless 60fps needed)
Tool Recommendations
- HandBrake (free, cross-platform)
- FFmpeg (command line)
- Adobe Media Encoder (paid)
Storage Quota Exceeded
What Happens
When quota is exceeded: - New uploads blocked - Renders may fail - Projects remain accessible - Downloads still work
Resolution Steps
- Download important files
- Delete old projects
- Remove unused clips
- Delete rendered outputs
- Empty temporary files
